This weekend is SwampCon in Gainesville at the University of Florida! It's a FREE event at the UF Student Union and Propeller Anime is excited to be hosting panels there once again! We'll have four panels on Sunday, January 19th to check out and we hope to see you there!

11AM - Best Supporting Characters of Anime
Propeller Anime�s top ten Supporting or "Secondary" characters that we feel shine brighter than Krillin's solar flare. In this panel we discuss who we believe are the top supporting characters that bring life to your favorite anime! Come and join us as we talk about all the characters that are constantly overlooked by the fan favorite protagonists.
12PM - Propeller Anime's Best of 2013
This past year has been a killer for the Japanese animation industry with many hot projects rising to the top and gaining critical acclaim. Propeller Anime has watched hours and hours of new anime and will let you know what is the best of 2013!
2PM - Essential Anime Classics: 90s Edition
This year, Propeller Anime talks about the critical hits of the 90s that still matter today! In a panel that is sure to be controversial, level up as an anime fan and find out about some of the greatest stuff Japan has ever produced!
6PM - Anime Death Match
Contenders in the world of anime battle in a no-holds barred tournament where the winners are determined by YOU as attendees debate which characters would win in a fight!

Propeller Anime Panels @ SwampCon The Weekend!
Happy New Year! 2013 was a great year for anime fans and 2014 has a few things to be excited about already. (Space Dandy premieres January 4th!) In January, Propeller Anime will be busy with the Best of 2013 Anime Showcase, Anime Nite Orlando, and panels at SwampCon!
The Best of 2013 Anime Showcase will be on Sunday, January 12th at the Plaza Cinema Cafe in downtown Orlando. (155 S Orange Ave, Orlando, Florida 32801)
We strongly urge you to RSVP if you are going. Wristbands for entry will be given out at 1pm and the showcase will be begin at 2pm. Seating is limited and first come, first serve so please arrive early. Our committee is almost finished voting and it's going to be an awesome four hours of 2013's best anime!
Afterward, we'll go downstairs at the Horsepower Bar and Grill for the after-party!
On Thursday, January 16th, we'll have the first Anime Night Orlando of the year with Perfect Blue as our main feature! It's the first film of the legendary Satoshi Kon(Paprika, Millenium Actress) and it's our first time showing it at Anime Nite Orlando! We're still figuring out what to show with it, but it will be awesome!
As always, Anime Nite Orlando will be at Bikkuri Lounge at 919 E. Colonial Dr. is downtown Orlando and doors will open at 8pm!
Our first convention appearance of the year will be at SwampCon at the University of Florida. The convention will be January 18th and 19th with all of our panels on Sunday, January 19th! Here's our lineup!

January Events! Best of 2013, Anime Nite Orlando & SwampCon!
In this episode, Kent and Shamus give a HUGE UPDATE in regards to getting the "Best of 2013" Anime Showcase into a movie theater, shout outs to those who helped, recap our 7th Anniversary Halloween Party, and going to the Orlando Japan Festival!
We also discuss positive places in the Orlando anime community that fans can hang out at for FREE, the success of My Neighbor Totoro at the Enzian, other great candidates for theatrical screening, and mecha month with the legendary Giant Robo as our featured anime!
