In this episode of Propeller Anime Radio, we bring in the guy who broke Kent into the anime community here in Orlando nearly a decade ago, Vinz Clortho! Now you know who to thank! (Or blame, if you are the scourge of anime community villainy!) Formerly of Orange Anime and now of Solid State Society, Vinz has spent over five years traveling all of Asia, including Japan!
We discuss Vinz�s travels, including what anime culture was like in Tokyo during his time there. Plus, we talk about the old days of Orange Anime and what it is like now, running anime groups, breaking into hosting events at conventions, the state of anime at MegaCon, and tales of the legendary Spooky Electric!
We even make time to talk about anime!

Finally! Kent has finished reading Naoki Urusawa's manga epic, Pluto and will be talking about that! Shamus also joins in and they review the latest Studio Ghibli movie, The Tale of Princess Kaguya. Directed by Isao Takahata! (Grave of the Fireflies, Pom Poko)
Find out what we think of Pluto and Princess Kaguya and where the latter ranks among Isao Takahata's films! We also talk about live action movies based on anime including Attack on Titan and a crowdfund project to send the Lance of Longinous to THE MOON! Shamus also tells a very boring MC Chris story and reveals his plans to rule Orlandia. (He won't)

Propeller Anime Radio Episode #24: The Tale of Princess Kaguya, Pluto, MegaCon, AFO, and Tridents!
In this episode, we look at the largest gathering of geeks in Florida, the latest big anime announcements, and Studio Ghibli's latest movie!
MegaCon, Florida's all-encompassing geek media mecca, took place this past weekend at the Orange County Convention Center. Kent and Shamus give the rundown on that, the major happenings, the feedback, and the convention's anime presence.
We even go over a panel report from Juan Sanmiguel of the Orlando Science Fiction Society from Sunday's panel "Anime 2014: What to Expect" Thanks, Juan!
Then we change gears to all the tremendous news that broke out in the world of anime that everyone missed while going to MegaCon! A new Lupin the 3rd movie directed by Takeshi Koike, a new season of Psycho Pass, new Shinichiro Watanabe anime(besides Space Dandy), the Attack on Titan English cast announcements, and more!
Finally, we give our thoughts on Hayao Miyazaki's final film, The Wind Rises, including the low gross at the U.S. Box office and what that could mean for future anime theatrical releases.

Propeller Anime Radio #14: MegaCon Recap, Tons of 2014 Anime News, The Wind Rises
You're at MegaCon, looking through the con guide wondering, "Where the hell is Propeller Anime and all their awesome events??"
Well, we decided not to host events at MegaCon this year, but we will be hosting events at other conventions where anime is still important!
We will still be attending MegaCon and we'll be going to this sweet party Saturday night. We look forward to seeing everyone this weekend! We'll even have a recap in our podcast next week!

It's lucky number thirteen as far as episodes of Propeller Anime Radio go! We sure hope nothing bad happens on this podcast!
We talk a little about O.G. Full Metal Alchemist vs Brotherhood. Then we get into the upcoming MegaCon and its anime track(that we will not be a part of), including some of the after-parties going on.
Afterward, we get into the live-action Akira and how Frenchie LeDouche's disrespect of the source material could adversely affect the films he was to direct. Plus, Miyazaki rants about the otaku-filled anime industry and our take on it.
Last but not least, we cover Space Dandy, the hot, new anime from Shinichiro Watanabe! (Cowboy Bebop, Kids on the Slope) It currently airs every Saturday night at 11:30pm on Cartoon Network's Toonami block. It's getting a polarizing reaction but what do WE think of it?
