Happy New Year, Propeller Heads! We are going to do our first Propeller Anime Radio episode of the year and we're going to cover our favorite anime of 2014!
Kent and Shamus will be joined by Juan Sanmiguel of the Orlando Area Science Fiction Society (OASFIS) to discussnine eight of our favorite anime of this year. Because Juan is on, we'll have a lot of sci-fi and mecha. We would not have it any other way.

Propeller Anime presents the last Anime Nite Orlando of the year! It's the holidays so we'll have a fun movie as our main feature! Wear your ugly Christmas sweaters and Santa hats! We'll be at Bikkuro Lounge(1919 E. Colonial Dr. Orlando, FL) on Thursday, December 18th!
Get ready for great anime, delicious food, and awesome times! Our main feature will be Studio Ghibli's Castle in the Sky! Directed by the legendary Hayao Miyazaki!
A girl named Sheeta falls out of the sky and lands in Pazu's arms. Soon after a gang of air pirates led by Dola, as well as a mysterious man named Muska, are on their tails. The chase leads them to a floating castle that once belonged to an ancient race of people.
We'll be showing Castle in the Sky in English which stars Anna Paquin as Sheeta and Mark Hamill as Muska. THAT'S RIGHT LUKE SKYWALKER HIMSELF IS AN ANIME VOICE ACTOR!
Before Castle in the Sky, we'll be showing The Vision of Escaflowne! Mecha and fantasy clash in this classic series created by Shoji Kawamori (Macross) with music by Yoko Kanno (Cowboy Bebop). Funimation will be re-releasing this series next year!
Last but not least, we'll be holding a prize raffle, thanks to our friends at Anime Orlando Inc! They have provided us with a Totoro tote bag filled with goodies inspired by My Neighbor Totoro! We'll be raffling off the bag and the items in it before we show Castle in the Sky! You can get tickets by showing up, wearing Propeller Anime swag, or getting food and drinks from Bikkuri Lounge!
This event is free and doors open at 8pm! You must be over 18 years of age with a valid I.D. to enter.
Bikkuri Lounge is a nerd's paradise with the best in Japanese cuisine including sushi and sake, and a full bar with drink specials such as 2 for 1 beers and $3.00 wells until midnight!

ANIME NITE ORLANDO: Holiday Edition! (12/18)
Our next Anime Nite Orlando will be Thursday, May 15th at Bikkuri Lounge! (1919 E. Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL) We will be celebrating the 35th anniversary of one of the most beloved anime franchises ever. That's right! It's a whole night dedicated to GUNDAM!

As we said in a recent announcement, we will be showcasing several different Gundam series throughout the night! We've been paying attention to feedback, reading your favorites, and watching a lot of Gundam ourselves. This way, we can make sure a lot of fun will be had this month!
We've already announce Mobile Fighter G Gundam to much excitement! What's next?!
We wanted to make sure traditional Gundam had representation. That means mobile suits in real war situations and the drama that comes with that! With that in mind, Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th M.S. Team has been added to the lineup!
U.C. 0079 - In the middle of the One Year War, Ensign Shiro Amada is transferred to South East Asia to command Kojima Batallion's 08th MS Team, a small army of soldiers piloting RX-79[G] Gundam Ground type units.
During the skirmishes in the jungle, he confronts ace Zeon pilot Norris Packard and falls in love with Aina Sahalin, a pilot involved in testing Zeon's top-secret mobile armor. This relationship leads to the Federation doubting their trust in Shiro. Now Shiro must prove his loyalty in the battleground or die a traitor.
How about that?! But what's next you ask? Well that is up to you! We're having an alternate timeline triple threat match and you are voting for the winner!
YOU will decide between Gundam Wing, Gundam SEED, or Gundam 00! All series with strong followings in different timelines! Made in different eras! Vote on our event page poll to decide the next addition to our already fantastic Anime Nite Orlando!

ANIME NITE ORLANDO: Fly, Gundam! 35th Anniversary! (5/15)
In this episode, Kent and Shamus give a HUGE UPDATE in regards to getting the "Best of 2013" Anime Showcase into a movie theater, shout outs to those who helped, recap our 7th Anniversary Halloween Party, and going to the Orlando Japan Festival!
We also discuss positive places in the Orlando anime community that fans can hang out at for FREE, the success of My Neighbor Totoro at the Enzian, other great candidates for theatrical screening, and mecha month with the legendary Giant Robo as our featured anime!

Propeller Anime Radio Episode #10: Wrapping up 2013, Orlando Japan Festival & Mecha Month With GIANT ROBO!
