Coming up very soon is Anime Festival Orlando! It's the best anime convention in Florida! We�ll be there with events all weekend, from Thursday, August 13th to Sunday August 16th at the Wyndham Orlando Resort on International Drive.
Thursday night, as part of the Passport to Orlandia, we will be hosting Anime Nite Orlando at AFO! How crazy is that?
We highly recommend that you pre-register RIGHT NOW to save money and avoid long lines.
As seen every third Thursday of the month at Bikkuri Lounge, we�ll be showing anime and movies featuring guests Todd Haberkorn, Veronica Taylor, Eric Stuart, and Dante Basco. Since we�re at AFO, this will be all ages!
Our anime lineup is still be during determined. But we're looking at Slayers, Pokemon, Ouran High School Host Club, Axis Powers Hetalia, and Soul Eater as potential choices.
However, by popular demand, our main feature of the night will be the live-action Fist of the North Star movie starring Dante Basco! It will be a great night!
What is the Passport to Orlandia?
We recommend that you do get the Passport to Orlandia, which you obtain FOR FREE Thursday night at AFO when you pre-register beforehand and reserve a hotel room at the Wyndham Orlando Resort for Thursday night. (You have to present your hotel key to get it.)
The Passport to Orlandia gives your priority seating to Opening Ceremonies, Closing Ceremonies, the Costume Contest, the AMV Contest and speed pass to autograph signings.
It also gives you access to Thursday night events such as Anime Nite Orlando, Solid State Society�s Anime Game Show Night, AFO�s Karaoke Party, a cash prize video game tournament, and a special guest reception where you will be able to enjoy food and refreshments and meet our guests!
Anime Nite Orlando: AFO 2015 Edition!
We are pleased to announce that for the THIRD year in a row, Propeller Anime will once again be hosting events at Knightrokon, presented by our friends at Anime Spot! The event will once again take place at the University of Central Florida Student Union, on June 7th and 8th!
Many of our members will be hosting many panels and contest, including Iron Cardboard Robot Cosplay AND the Ninja Olympics! Below is our confirmed schedule!
Saturday, June 7th
Iron Cardboard Robot Cosplay
2:30pm - 4:00pm, Sand Keys Ballroom
Propeller Anime presents the competition of competitions at Knightrokon! In Iron Cardboard Robot Cosplay, up to 8 teams of 3 will work hard for 65 minutes to assemble robot costumes - that will be worn(!) - using cardboard, foil, construction paper, and a secret ingredient! THERE WILL BE PRIZES!
