The summer sure is hot, and so is Anime Nite Orlando! Our next edition will be Thursday, July 21st at Bikkuri Lounge in Orlando, FL!
By popular demand, Propeller Anime will be showing Mamoru Hosoda's latest film, The Boy and The Beast! If you missed the movie in theaters earlier this year or want to see it again, this is your chance. But that's not all!
Last year one of the best and most popular anime in recent anime premiered and shocked the world, One Punch Man. But did you know there was an OVA series? We'll be opening up with episodes One Punch Man OVA series! How cool is that?

Anime Nite Orlando is hosted at at Bikkuri Lounge, located at 1919 E. Colonial Dr. Orlando, FL! This event is free and doors open at 8:00pm! You must be over 18 years of age with a valid I.D. to enter.
Bikkuri Lounge is an anime fan's paradise with the best in Japanese cuisine including sushi and sake, and a full bar with drink specials such as 2-for-1 beers and $4.00 wells until midnight!

Mamoru Hosoda, director of Summer Wars and Wolf Children, has a new film coming to the states that we have been excited about for a while: The Boy and The Beast! This movie will be playing in movie theaters throughout the nation March 4th to March 10th!
We're going to see the Saturday, March 5th 1:10pm showing at the AMC 24 Disney Springs, located at 1500 N Buena Vista Drive, Orlando, FL, 32830.
When Kyuta, a young orphan living on the streets of Shibuya, stumbles into a fantastic world of beasts, he�s taken in by Kumatetsu, a gruff, rough-around-the-edges warrior beast who�s been searching for the perfect apprentice.
Despite their constant bickering, Kyuta and Kumatetsu begin training together and slowly form a bond as surrogate father and son. But when a deep darkness threatens to throw the human and beast worlds into chaos, the strong bond between this unlikely pair will be put to the ultimate test�a final showdown that will only be won if the two can finally work together using all of their combined strength and courage. Propeller Anime Events at Holiday Matsuri 2015!
This weekend, we'll be travelling to the Peach State for our favorite anime convention, Anime Weekend Atlanta! There will be lots of great guests from the anime industry, including Japanese guests, concerts, panels, dealers, lot of other fantastic fun for every anime fan!

We are back from a long hiatus! The summer ended up being extremely busy for us but we are back with a fantastic new episode of Propeller Anime Radio!
This time, Kent and Shamus talk about one of Japan's most critically acclaimed directors, one Mamoru Hosoda! He's famous for directing Summer Wars, Wolf Children, and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.
Of course, since he is the heir apparent to Hayao Miyazaki's throne, we compare and contrast their styles and even see how Hosoda fares against other modern anime directors like Takeshi Koike and Makoto Shinkai. This is a fun podcast that you don't want to miss!

We have a night dedicated to acclaimed director, Mamoru Hosoda! Hail the new King of Anime! We'll be showing two movies of his that we have never shown before at Bikkuri Lounge: The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and One Piece: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island! It's going to be one hell of a night!

Propeller Anime presents the final Anime Nite Orlando of the year and we're going out on a very high note! It will be on Thursday, December 12th at Bikkuri Lounge(1919 E. Colonial Dr. Orlando, FL).

We're going to pair up with the charity organization One Hope United to make sure kids less fortunate have a wonderful holiday this year! Please bring kid-appropriate items you have like toys, stuffed animals, boardgames, blankets, manga, graphic novels, and books. If you aren't sure if it's good to bring just ask!
Our main feature of the night will be Wolf Children, from Funimation, Madhouse, and the man most qualified to take over for Hayao Miyazaki as Japan's premiere animation director: Mamoru Hosoda! (Summer Wars, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time)
It's one of the best animated movies in recent years and you won't want to miss it! (Some of you will want to bring tissues.)
We'll open up the night with something fun! TBD!
Of course, the bar will be open with 2-for-1 beers and Bikkuri will have a delicious menus like always! Doors open 8pm. No cover. Must be 18+ with I.D.

Anime Nite Orlando: Holiday Charity Drive with Wolf Children!
In this episode of Propeller Anime Radio, Kent Ward and Shamus Oddish discuss our trip to Anime Weekend Atlanta and all the stuff we did there, including posing like we're in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and etiquette at panels with Japanese guests!

This Summer is winding down and classes are getting ready to start. Before it all ends, we at Propeller Anime would love to host another fantastic Anime Nite Orlando!
Join us on Thursday, August 8th at Bikkuri Lounge at 1919 E. Colonial Dr. Orlando, FL at 8pm! It's no cover to get in and you must be at least 18 years old with an I.D. to get in.
Our main feature this time is one of the best anime films of this generation, Summer Wars. Directed by Mamoru Hosoda(The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Wolf Children), Summer Wars is a movie that depicts the dangers of the world depending on technology for every function aspect of daily life.
Kenji, who is great at math and bad with girls, ends up on a trip with his crush Natsuki to meet his new family as her pretend fiance. When the gargantuan virtual world OZ goes out of control and brings armageddon upon the real world, Kenji must team up with Natsuki�s family to save civilization!
Bikkuri Lounge has fine Japanese cuisine available across the hall to-go. Drink specials at the bar are 2-for-1 beers, $3 wells, and $5 Crown Royal and Three Olives drinks.
