March's edition of Anime Nite Orlando will be special for two reasons!

1) This will be our three year anniversary of hosting Anime Nite Orlando at Bikkuri Lounge!
2) We will be showing Evangelion 3.33: You Can (Not) Redo




That's right! The third Rebuild of Evangelion movie is finally out in the states and we''ll be showing it. This ain't your daddy's Evangelion!

Shinji Ikari just woke up in his Eva unit fourteen years after starting the Third Impact. He hasn�t aged, but everything else has changed. The earth is in ruins. Rei is missing. The people he once protected treat him like a prisoner and threaten to kill him if he pilots another Eva. 

When he escapes to the remains of NERV headquarters, Shinji meets pianist Kaworu, who is destined to be Shinji�s copilot in a new dual-cockpit Eva. As the boys bond, NERV�s true mission begins to come into focus. 

Lost in a labyrinth of deception, Shinji careens toward a mental breakdown that could bring about the end of humanity. Evangelion 3.33 continues the groundbreaking rebuild with stunning robot battles and mind-bending revelations. The end of every world has a beginning. 


But that's not all! We'll be opening with another Gainax classic that is also the directorial debut of Hideaki Anno: Aim For The Top! Gunbuster!

Anime Nite Orlando is hosted at at Bikkuri Lounge, located at 1919 E. Colonial Dr. Orlando, FL! This event is free and doors open at 8:00pm! You must be over 18 years of age with a valid I.D. to enter.

Bikkuri Lounge is an anime fan's paradise with the best in Japanese cuisine including sushi and sake, and a full bar with drink specials such as 2-for-1 beers and $4.00 wells until midnight!

We're celebrating a year of Anime Nite Orlando at Bikkuri Lounge on Thursday, March 13th with a double-dose of Gainax! We're showing Evangelion 2.22: You Can [Not] Advance and Diebuster!

Evangelion 2,22: You Can [Not] Advance, provided courtesy of Funimation, is the continuation of the Rebuild movies. Shinji Ikari continues his role as a pilot of one of the gigantic "Evangelion" mecha as part of NERV's ongoing fight against the mysterious creatures known as Angels.

While replicating many scenes and plot elements from the original series, the film also introduces new ones, including newly designed creatures and new characters, such as Mari Illustrious Makinami, and integrates newly available 3D CG technology.


Diebuster(also known as Gunbuster 2), provided courtesy of Discotek Media, follows a waitress named Nono who one day meets Lal'C Melk Mark, a member of the elite pilot team Topless. Nono uses her super strength to help L'al'C and her Buster Machine defeat an alien, and from then on Nono hopes to become a member of Topless. 

Eva 2.22 and Diebuster have something special in common besides being produced by Gainax. Both were also directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki, who is also known for directing End of Evangelion and FLCL!

Doors open at 8pm and Bikkuri Lounge is located at 1919 E. Colonial Dr. Orlando, FL. In addition to awesome anime, there will delicious Japanese cuisine, drink specials, and prize raffles!

Anime Nite Orlando is free to attend but you must be at least 18 years old with valid I.D. to enter the lounge! It's going to be another amazing time and we look forward to seeing you on March 13th!

In less than two weeks is Knightrokon at the UCF Student Union in Orlando, FL! The event takes place June 1st & 2nd and Propeller Anime will certainly be involved with panels, a contest, showings, and a sweet party! (RSVP on Facebook!)

Come one, come all, and see the toughest anime gentlemen and ladies face off to see who is going to be Knightrokon Champion! This bracket style tourney will pit some of your favorite characters against each other in a fight that will be one of a kind. Are you a strong enough supporter to push your champ over the top? Come and find out who will take the top spot.

Intro Into Mecha Anime For Modern Fans

Do you like high school anime comedies? Of course not! This panel will introduce you to the action-packed world of giant robots and hot-blooded pilots. There will be explosions! There will be melodrama! This isn't about your dad's copy of Robotech! 

The Brutal Kings of MMA Manga!
5:30PM - 6:30PM in room 221
Mixed Martial Arts is popular around the world and in Japan, manga has existed for such combat even before there was UFC! We take a look at how the genre came to be and compare the two kings of MMA manga, Baki the Grappler and Tough!

From Gunbuster to Evangelion. From FLCL to Panty & Stocking. This panel will be covering the awesome history of one of Japan's most controversial animation studios.

It's MANIME! The Manly Anime Panel: God-Tier Edition!

It's an electrifying event that is FOR MEN BY MEN! Discover what makes an anime or manga manly and which stories are part of the GOD-TIER OF MANIME! (Caution: Men may grow beards, and women may get pregnant.)
