Man, what a party we had last week! Thank you all again for coming out and making Propeller Anime the most party anime club in the entire galaxy! Today is our official birthday as we are now eight years old! Thank you for all the love and support over the years!
Before we start YEAR NINE, let's give thanks to all those who helped with the party!
First, thank you to Aaron and Jason at The Geek Easy for having us! It feels good to be back and we look forward to returning again for more partying! And big shoutouts to Fishtoaster for running sound all night! We appreciate your dedication to the party!
We want to thank our girls Nina, Alison, and Diana for helping with decorations for the party! (And Phil and Glitch with the assist!) For videogames, we thank Derek, Jacob, Brotha, Kyo, and Chozo for bringing their consoles and TV for the night! And thanks to Shamus for running the tournaments and gathering AMVs!

Awesome. So in year eight, we partied hard, watched lots of really cool anime, made lots of buds, and even got anime into a movie theater for a day! We rocked hard at Anime Festival Orlando, SwampCon, Anime Weekend Atlanta, and Knightrokon!
In year nine, we still are going to party hard and watch really cool anime! We're still gonna run wild at conventions! We're still going to have the best anime nights anywhere. And we still are going to be the best anime club ever! oh YEAH! But we can't do it without YOU so please keep the party going with us!
With that said, we have a couple big events in November. We'll be at the Orlando Japan Festival with our friends at Anime Spot on Sunday, November 2nd. Then on Thursday, November 20th will be another exciting edition of Anime Nite Orlando at Bikkuri Lounge! We'll have posts up soon, but for now, click on the links to RSVP!

Propeller Anime Turns Eight Today! OSU!
Hey Propellerheads! As you already know, Friday October 17th will be Propeller Anime's 8th Anniversary Halloween Party at The Geek Easy! (114 S. Semoran Blvd. Winter Park, FL 32792)
We have some really cool announcements for the party to share today, including video game tournaments, musical acts, raffles, Jojo's posing, and more!
There will be a bunch of cool video games out for people to play, but we'll have a couple tournaments as well! We'll have Mario Kart 8 for Wii U at 8:35pm and Super Smash Bros. for 3DS at 10:35pm! Sign-Ups will start when doors open!
Mario Kart 8 will be single elimination 4 player races, with the top 2 of each match advancing to the next round! Races will be randomly selected. The finals will be contested with 4 players with the winner getting something from our prize stash.
Super Smash Bros for 3DS will be single elimination 1-on-1 matches with 3-minute, 4 stock limits. Since this is a party, we'll play by fun rules so items on and random stages. Last person standing wins the tournament! You must have a Nintendo 3DS and a copy of Super Smash Bros. to enter.
What's a party without some music! We'll have awesome tunes playing all night, with a couple of live acts to be excited about!
You may know them as Chris Allen and Orlando Suber, but on stage they go by EyeQ and O_Super! They will be performing together with songs inspired by Attack on Titan and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure! How cool is that?!
Later in the night, S.S. Hanami rock out live! Their music is inspired by the theatrics of J-rock, the melancholic nostalgia of Visual Kei, and the soundtrack accompanying the most stirring scene from your favorite anime.
You may have seen these acts play at Anime Festival Orlando, Orlando Nerd Fest, Umicon, and other other conventions. Now you can see them play at our party!
A whole lot of you are hyped for our Jojo's Bizarre Pose-Off! This will be at 10:00pm and you will all get the chance to get on stage and strike a pose! Pose like you are in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure! And hold it so we can get photos!
Judges will score each pose on a 1-10 scale! The highest combined score wins the competition! Stand with style!
But that's not all! We'll have two sessions of prize raffle giveaways, thanks to our sponsors Anime Festival Orlando, Anime Orlando Inc, Cybertron Video Games, Discotek Media, Serious Impact Works, and Crunchyroll!
The first giveaway will be at 8:30pm and the second at 10:30pm! Each one will have a free weekend pass to AFO 16 to win! You can go to AFO next year just by coming to the party! How awesome is that?!
You get a raffle ticket just for showing up and you get bonus tickets by wearing a costume or Propeller Anime Swag(lanyards, t-shirts, buttons, etc.). You can actually get Propeller Anime swag at our online store!
We're super excited for the party and we hope to see you there! This club has gone on this long and has been so awesome because of you guys! So let's celebrate and party hard on October 17th!

Friends! It is time to celebrate another year of great times with each other and PARTY HARD! Propeller Anime turns 8 years old and we'll celebrate on Friday, October 17th with a night of grand fun and debauchery!
There will lots of fun things to enjoy at the party, like videogames, live music, prize raffles, anime-themed drinks, dancing, cosplay, and even a JOJO'S BIZARRE POSING CONTEST! Perhaps we will bring back the Twister mat? Because why the hell not?! Anyways, it's a party, let's just have fun!
Best of all, this party is FREE! How about that?!
Whether you come out to our events all the time or once in a while, we want to see you there! If you've never been to a Propeller Anime event before, this is a great time to start!
We'll be making our glorious and heroic return to The Geek Easy, located at 114 S. Semoran Blvd Winter Park, FL 32792, in the back of A Comic Shop! The place has changed a lot since the last time we were there. It's bigger and they have a bar and serve food! There will be beer, wine, sake, soft drinks, and even Ramune! Plus sandwiches, snacks, and Pocky!
We're the greatest anime club in ZA WARUDO and let's show that once again with a party that's going into OVERDRIVE! (Jojo's references all day, folks) Stay turned for more announcements about acts, prizes, and all sorts of other fun!
