Propeller Anime presents a night of outlaws in anime at Bikkuri Lounge, the best place for Japanese cuisine and drinks in Orlando! (1919 E. Colonial Dr. Orlando, FL)
We will show Trigun: Badlands Rumble, starring Johnny Yong Bosch as Vash the Stampede! In addition, we'll show episodes of Michiko & Hatchin, produced by Shinichiro Watanabe (Cowboy Bebop, Space Dandy)! Both available for sale, courtesy of Funimation!
Vash the Stampede is a gunslinging, red-trenchcoat-wearing drifter with a giant bounty on his head. His biggest threat, however, may not be law enforcement, but an outlaw by the name of Gasback. Twenty years ago, Vash accidentally interefered with one of Gasback's robberies, and now the villain's back with a score to settle.
Gasback has come to Macca City in hopes of stealing one of their major installations, and Vash has just coincidentally arrived at the same spot. Also involved in this caper are a beautiful lady with a grudge, a couple of insurance agents, and Vash's old buddy Wolfwood. At first it seems that Gasback has succeeded, but one can never underestimate Vash's legendary abilities-not to mention the secrets that his allies have up their sleeves.
Michiko is a stunning escaped convict with lethal looks and a deadly disrespect for the lawmen trying to hunt her down. Hatchin is a hapless orphan pushed to the breaking point by the sadistic spawn of her fiendish foster parents. On their own, these ladies are nothing more than a Yin searching for its Yang, but when fate -- in the form of a mysterious man from their past -- brings them together, the world better watch out!
With the future dead ahead and the police hot on their heels, Michiko and Hatchin burn rubber through exotic locales where danger lurks around every corner. It's two against the world in this sun-soaked, Latin-tinged tale of partners in crime who won't stop running till they chase down a dream.
This is the week before Anime Festival Orlando, and we want to see the anime community come out in full force!

ANIME NITE ORLANDO: Outlaws! (7/17)
In this episode, we look at the largest gathering of geeks in Florida, the latest big anime announcements, and Studio Ghibli's latest movie!
MegaCon, Florida's all-encompassing geek media mecca, took place this past weekend at the Orange County Convention Center. Kent and Shamus give the rundown on that, the major happenings, the feedback, and the convention's anime presence.
We even go over a panel report from Juan Sanmiguel of the Orlando Science Fiction Society from Sunday's panel "Anime 2014: What to Expect" Thanks, Juan!
Then we change gears to all the tremendous news that broke out in the world of anime that everyone missed while going to MegaCon! A new Lupin the 3rd movie directed by Takeshi Koike, a new season of Psycho Pass, new Shinichiro Watanabe anime(besides Space Dandy), the Attack on Titan English cast announcements, and more!
Finally, we give our thoughts on Hayao Miyazaki's final film, The Wind Rises, including the low gross at the U.S. Box office and what that could mean for future anime theatrical releases.

Propeller Anime Radio #14: MegaCon Recap, Tons of 2014 Anime News, The Wind Rises
It's lucky number thirteen as far as episodes of Propeller Anime Radio go! We sure hope nothing bad happens on this podcast!
We talk a little about O.G. Full Metal Alchemist vs Brotherhood. Then we get into the upcoming MegaCon and its anime track(that we will not be a part of), including some of the after-parties going on.
Afterward, we get into the live-action Akira and how Frenchie LeDouche's disrespect of the source material could adversely affect the films he was to direct. Plus, Miyazaki rants about the otaku-filled anime industry and our take on it.
Last but not least, we cover Space Dandy, the hot, new anime from Shinichiro Watanabe! (Cowboy Bebop, Kids on the Slope) It currently airs every Saturday night at 11:30pm on Cartoon Network's Toonami block. It's getting a polarizing reaction but what do WE think of it?
