On Thursday, September 15th, Propeller Anime presents a very special Anime Nite Orlando featuring the highly anticipated screening of 009 Re:Cyborg! This is one of the latest and greatest of Production I.G and we're excited to show it thanks to Funimation!
When we announced this at the last Anime Nite Orlando, the amount of love was outstanding. People have fond memories of the Cyborg 009 series that aired on Toonami and creator Shotaro Ishinomori is a legend in the business. But that's not all we're showing!
Plot synopsis from ANN: When unknown terrorists attempt to de-stabilize global civilization by blowing up skyscrapers all over the world, Dr. Isaac Gilmore's team of cyborgs are re-activated to combat the menace. Using their super-human powers they discover phenomenon far stranger than human masterminds.
In addition to the Cyborg 009 movie, we will also be showing Shotaro Ishinomori's Android Kikaider and Go Nagai's Re: Cutie Honey. It will be a wonderful night of robots!
We will also have prize raffle! We have stuff to give away!
Anime MST3K is banned! Be respectful to your fellow anime fan!
Anime Nite Orlando is hosted at at Bikkuri Lounge, located at 1919 E. Colonial Dr. Orlando, FL! This event is free and doors open at 8:00pm! You must be over 18 years of age with a valid I.D. to enter.
Bikkuri Lounge is an anime fan's paradise with the best in Japanese cuisine including sushi and sake, and a full bar with drink specials such as 2-for-1 beers and $4.00 wells until midnight!
Anime Nite Orlando featuring 009 Re:Cyborg! (9/15)
Science fiction and fantasy fans! Propeller Anime shall be hosting several panels on science fiction anime at the 27th annual OASIS convention in Orlando, Florida. OASIS will take place May 1st - 3rd at the International Palms and Resort on International Drive.
We're pretty excited about the opportunity and we'd like to thank Juan Sanmiguel of OASFIS(who appeared on a recent podcast of ours) for kindly inviting us out. We look forward to spreading our anime love to a brand new crowd!

Propeller Anime celebrates the 20th anniversary of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Join us as we'll be covering both the legacy of this landmark title and its initial release. Plus, Eva's impact on anime in the 90s and the history of its creators at Gainax.
Essential Anime Classics: Sci-Fi Edition! (Saturday, May 2nd, 9:00pm)

Happy New Year, Propeller Heads! We are going to do our first Propeller Anime Radio episode of the year and we're going to cover our favorite anime of 2014!
